Every March the American Academy of Osteopathy (AAO) convenes an annual meeting known as the Convocation of the American Academy of Osteopathy. This gathering offers classes, workshops, and lectures to physicians and students geared toward improving osteopathic manipulative skills and philosophy.

During this convention, the PAAO holds their annual committee meeting, and committee officer elections are held.
